MAGASKAWE™ is a brand from Germany, with its main shop in Germany. Spreadshirt serves the German-speaking region there. We do not operate our own shop in the USA: our designs are available there solely through the Spreadshirt Marketplace. This US/OZ website links to the Marketplace for the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand; Spreadshirt's current delivery conditions apply.

1. Our Commitment

MAGASKAWE™ aims to make its information, designs, stories and product presentations accessible to as many people as possible. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target and work to improve accessibility as the website develops.

This is a statement of our approach and current measures, not a certification or a claim that every page, control or third-party service fully conforms to WCAG. Individual barriers can remain, and feedback helps us identify them.

2. Scope

This statement applies to this Lovable-hosted MAGASKAWE™ website, including its shopping-region entry screen, information pages, product presentations, media and contact page. The legal pages and contact details can be read without choosing a shopping region.

MAGASKAWE™ does not operate an on-site checkout. Product purchases take place on the independent Spreadshirt Marketplace. Spreadshirt's accessibility arrangements and any separate policies apply there. The European magaskawe.eu website is also separate from this statement's scope.

3. Reading and Accessibility Controls

3.1 Font Size and Reading Preferences

The accessibility control is positioned at the middle of the right edge of the website and remains available while scrolling within the site. It opens a panel with several reading and presentation preferences.

Available options include font-size and font-family adjustments, contrast choices, link underlining, spacing, reduced motion, focus highlighting, a larger cursor and hiding images. Settings are stored locally in your browser so your choices can persist between visits. The panel provides a reset option.

3.2 Read-Aloud and Language

The read-aloud function uses your browser's speech capabilities. Voice availability, pronunciation and operation depend on the browser, device and installed voices. It is not a substitute for a screen reader. The English/Deutsch controls at the top translate this website independently of shopping region. The accessibility panel's voice-language setting only selects pronunciation; it does not select the website language. Brand names and artwork inside images remain unchanged.

3.3 Browser Settings

You can also use your browser's zoom, text settings and accessibility tools. Some animations respond to the system reduced-motion preference or the website's reduced-motion setting. Not every video or entry animation is guaranteed to stop in every setting.

4. Structure and Operability

  • Readable presentation: clear headings, defined text roles and contrast-oriented styles support reading. Text on images and individual states may still require further review.
  • Flexible layouts: pages are designed to adapt to desktop, tablet and phone displays and to retain a logical reading order.
  • Keyboard operation: links, form fields and core controls use standard keyboard-operable elements. Complex overlays and media controls may behave differently depending on the device and assistive technology.
  • Semantic structure: page landmarks, headings, lists, labels and meaningful link names support navigation with assistive technology.
  • Image alternatives: meaningful editorial and product images use descriptive alternatives. Decorative media may be hidden from assistive technology.

5. Forms and Communication

The contact page uses labelled fields in a logical order and displays validation messages for missing or invalid entries. Its submission opens an email draft in your own email application. A message is not automatically sent by the website; the availability and accessibility of your email application also matter.

You do not have to use the form to contact us. Email info@magaskawe.de directly, or write to the postal address below.

6. Known Limitations

  • The animated region-entry sequence, automatically playing product films and ambient sound can be distracting or difficult for some visitors. The legal and contact pages remain accessible without entering through the sequence.
  • Dynamic panels, focus changes and streamed messages may not be announced or navigated consistently with every screen reader. Full assistive-technology testing has not been established for all combinations.
  • Some films do not provide a separate text transcript or audio description. A silent product animation is not a complete text alternative to the product's visual appearance.
  • The embedded YouTube player and linked Spreadshirt pages are controlled by their providers. Their controls, captions, media alternatives and accessibility may differ from this site's measures.
  • Text inside photographs or artwork cannot always be enlarged independently. Individual image alternatives, contrast and presentation at high zoom may need further refinement.

This website does not currently publish downloadable PDF product sheets. We do not list such documents as an existing barrier. If you need a page or description in an alternative format, contact us and we will discuss an accessible way to provide the information.

7. Technical Standards and Assessment

Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The website uses standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript and is intended for current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, with browser zoom and keyboard navigation.

Screen readers such as NVDA and VoiceOver are important reference technologies, but this notice does not claim that comprehensive testing or conformance has been completed for them. Automatic checks and individual manual reviews cannot cover every browser, device, zoom level and assistive-technology combination.

Accessibility preferences are aids rather than a replacement for accessible page structure. We continue to address barriers in the underlying pages and controls.

You can also use our Contact page. Please include, if possible:

  • The affected page or link.
  • A short description of what prevented access.
  • Your browser, device and assistive technology, if relevant.
  • A screenshot or error message, without sensitive information.
  • The alternative format or method of communication you need.

We generally respond within seven working days. If resolving a barrier needs longer, we aim to explain the next steps. You are welcome to report a problem even if you cannot provide all the details above.

9. Escalation and Applicable Procedures

If you believe an accessibility request has not been addressed appropriately, you may seek information from the competent accessibility enforcement, market-surveillance or dispute-resolution body in your jurisdiction. Available procedures depend on the type of service and the law that applies; this privately operated information website should not be confused with a public-sector website.

For information about the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and applicable market surveillance, consult the Federal Accessibility Office. This statement does not assert that a specific public-sector enforcement procedure applies to MAGASKAWE™.

10. Ongoing Review

We review this website for barriers at least once a year and when significant content or functionality changes. We use feedback to prioritize improvements to navigation, reading, media alternatives and communication.

The date at the top identifies this version. Operator information is also available in our Imprint; storage of accessibility preferences is explained in our Privacy & Cookies Policy.
